Asistina is a home care membership. Owners register their house or apartment and its appliances in the app, and a first visit builds the technical report of the home. From then on, maintenance for air conditioners, water heaters, pumps and electrical systems is scheduled, and anything that breaks is reported from the phone with a video, scheduled on a suggested date and followed in a chat with the technician until the job is done and reviewed. DevLunch designed and built the iPhone app with React Native and Expo, and the platform and staff panel with Ruby on Rails. It launched in November 2023.

What Made It Work
Prevention first
Scheduled maintenance keeps appliances and systems working, so fewer repairs turn into emergencies.
Video instead of guessing
A short video with every request lets the team understand the problem before the visit.
Dates that work for both sides
Asistina suggests a date and the owner confirms or changes it, so every visit is agreed in the app.
Technicians held to a standard
Reviews on service, cleanliness and presentation, and the option to ask for a different technician next time.
A panel for the team
Staff manage cases, schedules, quotes and installments from a web panel with two-factor sign-in.
Subscriptions in the app
Plans are paid as App Store subscriptions inside the app, with automatic renewals.
