The Contrata app is the iOS and Android app of contrata.com, a home services marketplace in the Dominican Republic. DevLunch designed and built it with React Native and Expo on the same platform as the website. Customers browse offers, find providers and request jobs. Providers run their business from the same app: they manage offers, answer job requests, talk with customers and track their performance.
THE ESSENCE
One Job, Many Pros, One Choice
Everything in the app serves one loop: a customer posts a job, providers in that service get a push and apply, the customer chooses, they talk, and both rate each other. This is that loop in motion, and you are the customer.
- 1Customer posts a job
- 2Pros get a push
- 3Pros apply
- 4You choose
- 5You talk
- 6Both rate
- Running on its own
When pros apply, pick one in the card. Leave it and it runs on its own.

INTERACTIVE APP
One App for Customers and Providers
Customers use the app to find offers and providers and to request jobs. Providers run their business from it: offers, job requests, conversations with customers and performance. Try the working replica below with sample data. The app is in Spanish, like the product.
Ofertas
Try it 0/6
Interactive replica with sample data. Tap a step in the list to jump to its screen.
Offers inventory with stats
Providers list services, products, contracts and equipment rentals, with views, visits and clicks for each offer and a reminder to add photos.
Two-step offer form
Name, price, discounted price and category, then terms, minimum order and up to five photos. New offers start as drafts until they are published.
Jobs inbox with push notifications
Providers get a push for new jobs in their services. Jobs that still take applicants stand out, and one tap applies.
Conversations on every job
Customer and provider ask and answer questions on each job. Call and WhatsApp open up once both sides agree.
Two-way reviews
When the work is done, the customer rates the provider and the provider rates the customer.
Performance dashboard
A weekly chart of contacts against the week before, plus each contact by phone, WhatsApp or email. Providers can also ask offline clients for a review with a link.
Customer Experience: Offers, Providers and Requests
Customers can browse without an account and sign in only when they need to contact a provider or request a job.
- Offers marketplace by category: services, products, contracts and equipment rentals
- Search by need, with a list of matching services
- Provider profiles with gallery, reviews and contact count
- One tap call or WhatsApp with a prefilled message
- Job requests with available days, a description and photos
- Sign in with Apple, Google or email
- Community feed and directory from the website, already signed in
- Links to jobs and offers open straight in the app
What Makes the App Different
Two roles, one app
The same app adapts to customers and providers. Provider tools appear only for accounts with a provider profile.
Notifications that open the right screen
Every push notification carries a link, so a tap opens the exact job or conversation, even when the app was closed.
Native where it matters
Core flows are native. The community feed, directory and profile editor come from contrata.com inside the app, already signed in, so they change without a store release.
Same platform as the website
The app runs on the same platform and data as contrata.com, so offers, jobs and reviews are always in sync.
Reviews from offline clients
Providers send a review link through the native share sheet to clients they served outside the app.
Built for one-handed use
Bottom sheets, floating actions, pull to refresh, pinch to zoom galleries and copy on tap for contact details.
